Loved Tiffany's story!
I loved Tiffany and Salukh together! I thought their cave sessions for “gathering herbs” were sweet and steamy. I loved how attentive Salukh was as Tiffany worked to overcome the trauma of the aliens that abducted her. That sounds heavy and it is but the story doesn't dwell on this. Loved the ending and I was thrilled to see my suspicions confirmed about Josie's potential mate.

Tiffany and Salukh are one of my favorite couples. Salukh is one of my absolute favorite aliens.
This is definitely a 5 star book but I left it at 4 because I need non BIPOC authors to stop calling curly hair wild. It's not cute. It's origins are rooted in racism. Authors miraculously find a dozen other words to describe straight hair and they are never negative. Dig deep. Dig deeper.
A slightly stale installment of IPB. It still fed me some easy dopamine but was not my fav. & still, I'm not ready to put this series to bed just yet...
“Barbarian's Prize” excels in delivering tastefully written smut, blending passionate scenes with a compelling storyline in a way that is both titillating and tasteful. The chemistry between the characters is palpable, making each encounter not just physically intense but also emotionally resonant. This book stands out in the romance genre for its ability to weave explicit scenes seamlessly into the narrative, enhancing the overall reading experience without overshadowing the story's emotional depth.
