The good: The art! I'm a huge fan of pencil sketches and striking black and white imagery, and this delivers! I'm also kind of a fan of the costume Batman whips together mid-story, not gonna lie. The line about “The Black Hand always delivers” near the end also cracked me up.
The bad: Basically everything else! What an acid trip of a story, woooo boy. Robin has an adventure during this story that I...basically didn't care about. There was so much going on that Grant Morrison tried to all wrap conveniently into one big story. The end result was convoluted, but not neat.
Result: A resounding meh.
