Birds of California

This book really just scraped the surface of its potential. It could have been really, really good, but never quite became something. Perhaps, character development would have been a great place to start.

I really enjoyed this story. It reminded me a bit of a book I read years ago called Misadventures in the 213. It was an atypical Hollywood love story. I was a bit taken aback at how abrupt the ending was. But overall, charming.
