yahoo! i missed binging books in 24 hrs or less. this was such a fun adventure that i really needed in between a lot of other heavier reads.
this book went along the same lines of “ok, yeah, the ending is kind of predictable but I DONT CARE I LOVE IT ANYWAY” the bond of the dragons with their riders and team PR really warmed my heart, and i can't get over what they did at the end. absolutely wonderful story, especially with how the MC wasn't some all powerful savior. she just brought together an awesome team of people who formed like voltron to become a savior — lovin it!!!
(in this alternate universe i hope i'm eligible for team philippines, y'all know i would kick major buttcheeks as a charger!!)
Such a cool modern world with magic and dragons. Lana was a smart and kind lead to follow. Her love for her island, her culture and their dragons. I had to wrap my mind around the sport but that's on me I'm not a sports person. But come on a world cup with dragons is so cool. The mystery and the villain were a intriguing. I understand why he did why he but that's no no bueno. I really hope people give this a try.
I loved the dragons. I loved the idea behind the games. Otherwise, it was just ok.
Really thought i would enjoy the read, as it had dragons and a tournament plot.
The book had a good start, but the world building didn't click for me. It was like having a house with a few walls missing.
The characters were all over the place. None of them made an impact, not even MC.
The fight with the antagonist was one of the most dull and boring fight I had ever read.
Had to force myself to finish the book.
