Can't wait for the third book Pandemic!

The second novel in Sigler's Infected trilogy, this one takes a step back from Dawsey's story and looks more at the general response of the US government to the triangle invasion. This one's more of an action story, compared to the horror story that the first book was – I think the best comparison would be to the first two films in the Alien trilogy in terms of tone and feel. And, just like with the Alien films, I enjoyed the first one a lot more, although the second one is a fine entry in the series.

Fantastic sequel to a fantastic first book.

Having listened to Sigler's books Ancestor and Infected as podcasts, I knew to expect a gripping story in Contagious - and I was right. In fact, I could hear Sigler in my mind reading the words and encouraging me to turn one more page and then another page and another. But the book is more than one exciting scene after another. Sigler builds in-depth characters that you care about and root for them to fight the alien invasion. I look forward to the next book in the series.
