Booked for Death

I liked that Charlotte's grief was still very real. It leaves a lot jog room for growth. We see why she needed a change of pace and we get warm fuzzy feelings off the aunt that provided it. We get an immediate idea of what the B & B is all about with the Josephine Tey weekend. We see the rough patches she is having with her new role as business owner and B & B hostess. Again room for character growth.
All the suspects are great. We don't really know enough about them to know who it really is. And I completely missed the real clue. So that felt like it came out of left field for me. Charlotte‘s friends need to be developed some more. They are a good start, but I want a little more out of them. Overall this was a good start. Not a wacky cozy. A heartfelt cozy with a good bookish twist and lots of room for growth.
