Born in death

As a New York cop, Eve Dallas is used to dealing with death. Harder to deal with is her best friend Mavis' nearly-to-term pregnancy, and Mavis' terror over the strange disappearance of another woman who is about to give birth. Now Eve is fighting on two fronts - hunting a ruthless killer, and searching the streets for a missing woman.
