A beautifully told story that shines a light on the very real hardships Indigenous people of Canada have faced and continue to face to this day. Fred Sasakamoose's story brought tears to my eyes and huge ear-to-ear smiles to my face. I'm not even a huge hockey fan but the love he has for hockey is contagious and surpassed only perhaps by the love he has for his family and community. This is a must read!
