Why?

First of all, I got this book free from Anyta Sunday's newsletter. Maybe I didn't read it well enough, but I thought it was one of her books, but it's a book written under her imprint. Once I got the book and realized that, my interest dropped. Also, when I found out this was a Snow White & Rose Red retelling...Well, it dropped again. Anyway, the reason I stopped reading it...

The main character (?) is gambling, cheating, and literally gambles the coat off his back - which belonged to his dead father. Well, he's out-cheated and his opponent wins. He chases the man (pirate) down and offers a trade to get the coat back. The pirate says he wants “your mouth” and goes on to say “So delicate. I should like to see just how well it could...keep me warm.” The main character turns him down (rightly) and is then told “I like my partners willing, but that is not a rule among my kind.” Then I'm treated to this lovely sequence.

Hand at the hilt of my sword, I held my chin up and braced for thieving hands as I passed.“Care for a wee bit of fun, there, matey?”Rancid breath fanned over my cheek and a groping hand slapped my ass -“Not my type, you ugly buffoon,” I said with a quick grin.I got two steps before something hard and blunt hit the back of my head. The wharf blurred, and a kick to my knees sent me crashing against damp planks.“Buffoon?” someone slurred. “Who's the fool now?”

Then the pirate he cheated comes to save him.

It would piss me off to read if this was a woman so...why do I want to read about a man being unwillingly groped?

(Also, this book needs to be formatted so badly. I've read fanfiction that was better formatted than this.)
