Chasing lilacs
In the summer of 1958 in the small Texas community of Graham Camp, twelve-year-old Sammie Tucker must choose who to trust with her deepest fears after her mother commits suicide and a not-so-favorite aunt arrives on the scene. Trusting is one thing, but accepting the truth will be the hardest thing Sammie has ever done.
