Children of the Fox

Rollicking. World-building is decent, characters are intriguing (especially Foxtail) and the plot zips along (despite a weird descent into backstory just before the climax which seemed ill-placed).

This book was longer than I expected. Although I really enjoyed it, it was, at times, tragic and scary. I started this audiobook with my nine year old grandson, but not sure if he was able to finish it. But I personally liked the story and gave it four starts from me.
