I absolutely hated Jade by the end of Chapter 7. She's a whiny, shitty, stupid brat with a really crappy attitude. Reading about her wanting to “bitch out” the very people who rescued her, and then yell and scream and just act stupid ... holy molasses, get a damn grip and stop acting like a toddler having a tantrum. Writing was okay, I guess, but why the heck would I want to read what is supposed to be an alien sci-fi romance if the aliens were just HUMANS BUT MORE BEAUTIFUL? How unimaginative can you get??
Mi primer libro de alienigenas. No tengo con qué comparar, pero me ha gustado. El mundo y la sociedad están muy guays. Un poco lento al principio pero luego va cogiendo ritmo. Mis dieces al primal Hunt.
I started this because a book further down in the series sounded interesting and I thought I'd wouldn't mind trying the others in order.
a world where the men go to husbandry school? the women are worshipped and respected? yeah i can get behind this 100%
-1⭐️ for that twist at the end. honestly who let that happen
So so so cute. I loved this book, I think this is my first alien romance?? Like full full alien romance? and it was so cute.
The audiobook was spectacular, let me say that. I love the sweet but oh so sexy relationship between our main characters. This story takes on a trip of a human lady being abducted and thrown onto this planet that is completely foreign. With intergalactic laws in place, she has to get married to one of these beings of her choice and stay on the planet for a year. This was funny and sweet and showed characters with so much development. I couldn't say anything negative about this other than not a five stars but a fun time am I right?
I'll be honest, when I first tried Choosing Theo earlier this year, I did not like it. I couldn't get into the author's writing style, and I ended up DNF-ing it early on. However, I decided to give it a second chance today, and I'm really glad I did. Once I got used to the author's writing style, somewhere around the 25% mark, I found myself enjoying this greatly. Very reminiscent of the Ice Planet Barbarians series.
