this was a surprise because a Christmas themed book you normally expect a lot of cliche romance but this was a refreshing twist to average Christmas read. the writing styles as well as the manner in which the authors link her ideas as well as answers the questions that she raises are very beautifully done. I really loved reading this book. I would not qualify it as a thriller or mystery. it's more of a semi mystery and semi romance. it has a lot more to do with the personal journey of Allegra over these experiences I feel. there are a lot more character interactions that suspense building which did not give a thrill factor that I have experienced in previous books of this style but I love the way she wrote and enjoyed the intricacies of the storytelling.

the links I talk of can be seen by readers with the advent calendar and clock, the issues of trusting for Allegra and the bespoke suit

it is also good to note that there is actually a dual mystery so call where there are two parts to the story that give Allegra issues in which on is related to sam and the other is related to her family
