Collision

I read my first book by this author in December and it was a book I really enjoyed so I was glad when this ended up being my first TBR Spinner Wheel pick of the year. I've had this book on my kindle for a while now and I wish I would have read it sooner.

Before I get into my thoughts on this book I just want to say there are a lot of trigger warnings for this book. If you are easily triggered by something I highly suggest you look into those before picking this up.

This book follows Merritt and the aftermath of her car accident. She is essentially having to put her life back together. She's gone through a lot in her life from when she was a kid to now and because of everything she has gone through she is pretty untrusting and very sarcastic. I loved her growth throughout the story and honestly I found her funny when it came to her sarcastic side.

Merritt and Chase have known each other since they were kids but never actually interacted with each other. From the way things are told in this book it sounds like Chase has always had a thing for Merritt but I don't know if that's actually true or not. It would totally explain why he was so protective of her from the very beginning. I love the found family aspect and how each of the characters are there for each other in different ways when dealing with the trauma. I will say there's a part of the synopsis that is a bit misleading and I feel like it would have been better being left out but overall another book I really enjoyed by this author.
