Convenience Store Woman

This poor woman! The main character seems to be different than other people - in my opinion she appeals to be on the autism spectrum. The people around her fail to see and appreciate her as she is, which is so sad! This entire book is just her coming to terms with how she doesn't conform to societal norms and how to come to terms with that. I felt very frustrated by the people surrounding her as I felt like she deserved more.
