When a writer's mystery starts coming true, there isn't much that surprises her anymore. Nothing about the danger is new to her, after her prior divorce from a psychotic local police detective. Now the police won't pay attention to her because her ex had ruined her credibility completely.
The story is heavily plot-driven, to the point where there's so much in the book that my head was spinning and I didn't get as deep into the character as I've have preferred. Otherwise it's a great read and I had a hard time figuring out who was doing what during the story.
