Agent Pendagast is back again this time to solve a theft of a important wine collection. With the help of Constance Greene, they discover bones behind th wine cellar. Are the two connected, while they are trying to get answers theres a murder that brings sorcery front center.Fast read, theres a lot of chapters but very short filled with mystery and suspense. The last chapter will make you want to find out what happens in the next one.

Multiple intriguing plots.
Pendergast and Constance are solving the mystery rather than being the mystery and I prefer that.
One plot point was an important point in the book Smugglers Reef by Hal Goodwin/John Blaine.
I re-read this to get re-acquainted with the story line before trying to catch up on the Pendergast series.
