As her grandmother's health declines, a young girl begins to lovingly take the lead in their cozy shared autumn traditions. Poetic prose paired with evocative illustrations by Mexican illustrator Claudia Navarro make for a beautiful celebration of life and a gentle introduction to the death of a loved one.

A girl and her grandmother celebrate the delights of autumn as they sip their tea, bundle up, twirl under the falling leaves, and wave to the trees. “Dance like a leaf!” Grandma says, and the girl does.
But, as time goes by, Grandma has more and more difficulty enjoying her tea and wrapping in scarves, twirling under the leaves and waving to trees.
And then the girl only has memories of Grandma to console her.
Beautiful illustrations. Poetic language.
