Washed-out pilot Hal Jordan is given a chance at redemption, but the helping hand is offered by arch-villain Sinestro, and the task asked of Hal is suicidal: he is to rescue the rogue Lantern's home planet from a murderous band assembled by Sinestro himself!

There is a sense of inevitability that comes when you know that the series has been handed over to a new writer. You hope that the storylines will not diminish but in your heart of hearts you also know its unlikely. And that's exactly what happens with Dark Days. Robert takes over and at the beginning he does not seem to be doing to badly. The storyline is not so different from the past ones and the Source wall is not something that can be talked of lightly. But what lets this down is the dialogue exchange between the different Lanterns. Its far to verbose and preachy. Maybe Robert needs time to know the characters better and feel their reactions before writing them. Lets hope this can be overcome!
