Lila Merriweather may be a part of the Sinclair Family now, but she is still a thief at heart. Knowing that Victor Draconi is planning something big to wipe out the other Families, she decides to break into his house to find out what it is. Meanwhile, monsters and magicks are turning up dead. As if that's not enough, Lila has been chosen to compete in the Tournament of Blades, an annual tournament that pits the families against each other. Can she beat the winner of the past 2 years, Deah Draconi? While this series is geared towards YA readers, I am loving it! I love this town and all the magic. There are some great characters as well.
