Days of hope

As the Second World War ends, Pat Kilroy proposes to 18-year-old Chrissie. Against her mother's wishes, Chrissie runs away to Ireland to marry Pat. But life as a housewife isn't what she expected and she finds herself trapped in an unhappy marriage.
