Death Leaves the Station

Outback Australia - early 1900's. Body found on homestead by owner's daughter. A nomadic friar goes to see it with her but 40 min. later the body is gone. Story is about investigation which also uncovers background of main characters, taking them all the way to Perth. Loved the characters, well-developed.
