The premise of this one sounded really interesting, and I was interested in reading about an IRS agent who solves cases rather like a regular police detective. However, it was also billed as a “cozy mystery” and this is definitely not a cozy. Loads of four-letter words and fluid definitions of morality...I'd just get on a roll with the mystery and Tara would bring in her non-morals, or start keeping secrets from her fiancé, or talk about how “hot” various guys were...she just got on my nerves and it obscured the mystery for me.
I won't be continuing the series.
