Dee's Mystery Solvers

Fantastic read for Halloween!

Leonard D. Hilley II does it again. I was granted the chance to read an advanced copy of this short story. While it is aimed at the YA audience, it's suitable for any age. Right from the start, the atmosphere of autumn and Halloween is set and makes one feel as if they are there. The introductions to the main characters, for me, was believable and different from each other. Four children, two boys and two girls with Dee and Marty being sister and brother.

That's all the spoiler I'm going to give. The scenes at the cemetery had me in suspense wondering what would happen next. Overall, the story has great narratives, good sense of suspense and some funny moments as well.
