There is a lot of development in this installment of Cat and Bones relationship. We find out that apparently she was married at 16 to another vampire Gregor whom they call Dream Snatcher. He wants her back and will stop at nothing to have her. At the same time the ghouls and vampires are upset because of rumors that Gregor is circulating. Bones and Cat have to work their differences out to come back together. Really good book. A lot of backstory added fleshing the relationships out even more.
There were cringe-worthy things, things I found ~problematic~ but ultimately I do think it's cool to follow a couple through happily ever after and see them working out big problems. I appreciated how that was handled.
I didn't appreciate them physically fighting when they got angry but it's okay because its a “spar.” I think that was a bit iffy and cringy and to top it all off they did it in front of someone else. That's just rude.
I didn't absolutely love the storyline with Gregor, either. But overall, a fun ride.

Destined for an Early Grave (Dramatized Edition) is a graphic audio published by the company Graphic Audio and written by Jeaniene Frost, based on the fourth book in her Night Huntress series, Destined for an Early Grave. Cat and Bones decided to take a vacation to France, but all is not well because Cat is now having dangerous dreams about a vampire named Gregor. A vampire that Cat has a history with, but even she doesn't remember that. How can Cat and Bones confront Gregor for his transgressions?
This story started off in a really convoluted way and I was not expecting to like this novel as much as I did. I thought the idea that Cat had a history with a "secret" vampire but she didn't know it was very sloppy writing at first, but when the pieces started to fall into place I could see that the author put much more thought into this book than I had originally suspected. (This of course is the dramatized adaption so it's not exactly like the book, but the execution of this adaption was awesome.)
The spicy scenes were good and I liked them even more after Bones and Cat were reunited (IYKYK [if you know, you know]). I'm giving the spicy scenes three point five chilies 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5 out of five chilies
After finding out the premise of this addition to the Night Huntress series, I was not expecting the story to be good. The story was great, it had action, it gave me mini heart attacks, and I sat on the edge of my seat while reading this. I'm giving this 5 stars, not only because I really liked it but because it subverted my expectations, and I'm happy about that. I'm giving this 5 out of 5 stars.

No início estava difícil, mas depois de meio... ❤️ não é o melhor, mas estes livros são o meu ponto fraco. #guiltypleasure
The action in this book was pretty good. Gregor was an interesting character, and I liked the way Cat handled him.
What I didn't like was the drama-llama between Cat and Bones. Yes, they eventually made up, but still, all the emotional turmoil in the middle was so unnecessary. It added to the conflict in the book, and also to the future Mencheres saw, which super interesting, and trying not to give away too much, but Vlad makes an entrance. He is such a laid back character here, and I like it. I like that with him, he has no love interest in Cat, and he is only there as a friend too, all the love interests get real tiring.
We also see a glimpse of her old crew, yay! I have a soft spot for Tate, and I kind of hope we see him paired with someone before I reach the end of the series.
