Who do I have to talk to so we can get this book as a movie?! I need to see the mountains, the wildflowers, the majestic beauty of wild California and romance between black people. This was... SO GOOD. but also what I've come to expect from Miss Bev.
Really fun and informative novel! I liked the bite sized historical facts throwing in and the romance was really fun. Small town, nice family dynamics, and banter. What more could I want? The last paragraph was a teaser for the next book and now I want to binge instead of savor haha. But really enjoyed this one!!
