I read the Magic Tree House books as a kid and this immediately transported me back. I had so much fun reading this, even though it's super short and definitely written for children. Reading this made me want to dig out my old copies of the books so I can read them as the graphic novels are coming out!
Thank you to Random House Children's and NetGalley for providing me with an eBook copy to review.
I finally got around to reading the first five books of the Magic Tree House series, and I have to say that these are perfect for my early chapter book readers. We've got a boy and a girl main character...check. We've got adventure and action...check. We've got readable text...check. What more could I ask for?
My 5 year old enjoyed this. I read it to her as a long-ish bedtime story. She was engaged from start to finish.
