Dog in boots

Dog sees the impressive Puss in Boots and decides that boots are the thing he is missing in his life. He heads off to the shoemaker, but what kind of boots are right for him? He tries many kinds and all have their strengths and weaknesses.

“'Have you got some that are better for swimming?' he asked.

‘The best thing for swimming,' the shopkeeper said, ‘are flippers.'

The flippers were fantastic
for swimming...
but when Dog triped to scratch,
they flip-flap-flopped around his head
in a very unsatisfying way.”
