Dolly

I listened to this on audible and I thought the narrator did a great job. I like the way Susan Hill writes...the buildup of dread. The atmosphere of the story was great but I wanted a little more backstory on dolly and what exactly she was or how she happened to be. That would bump it up to 5 stars for me.

I was lucky to receive a copy of this book in this format, since it is very rare now in hardback format. The version that I own of this book is signed by the author which i appreciate.
I am currently reading this book, I will review it when I am finished reading it.
So far I like the creepy atmosphere in the graveyard, since I always find them creepy and ominous if not haunted.
The pace of the story is very slow and I struggled to get through the story but I like the creepy “vibe” surrounding Leonora.
I don't understand what Leonora did to the doll relates to things that happen later on in the story.
