It's a vintage melodrama and is a good example of its genre. Girl marries cripple though fascinated by man of the world; cripple loves her so much that he goes to Europe for an experimental cure; man of the world attempts murder but is foiled by a boy; word of cripple's death gets back to girl; man of the world kidnaps girl, but she defies him because she realizes she loves her husband when she hears of his death....and that's just the beginning! There are so many twists and turns in this tale...
