Bob and Rob Headley, a two-headed monster, love doing everything together, especially playing catcher on a team in the Little Monster League.

Bob and Rob are the two heads and personalities of a double-headed monster. They normally agree on everything but when they need to make an important baseball decision they disagree and it changes everything.
This book sparked some good discussion in clinic. We talked about compromise and about making choices. During pre-reading, I asked the students if they knew what a double-header was and surprisingly they did not. Even when I told them it had something to do with sports they were in the dark until I eventually had to tell them. After all that baseball buildup, they were surprised to see the book was literally about a double-headed monster. The students enjoyed this book.
