The first book of the first 7-book series I've ever read. It's a great start with multiple story threads proceeding together all drawing you in with unanswered questions and mysteries, and all the while engaging you with the issues of the present and the conflicts and suspicions amongst the three major races of humans, elves, and dwarves.

It took me a while to get into this book, between the two beginning story lines I didn't really care for Limebeck's. However once everything came together I loved it! An adventure with a complicated world and characters, making me ask questions that I can't wait to continue reading to answer!
