I love Eric Carle's art. So simple, yet effective.
The story is a nice way of teaching children to count. Nice repetition bit there in the middle. :-)
And the story itself is very nice :-) Cute little twist in the end. I really thought it was about Santa Claus, but it isn't :-)
I wonder what the animals get...
