Earth 2, Vol. 1: The Gathering

Since I wound up with the first 52 weeks of DC's new 52, I have been trolling each franchise and this one surprised me. What a nice way to bring back Alan Scott and Jay Garrick. Initially it seems all pretty complex but slowly you ease into how each of the heroes come into existence. Sadly, James could not keep the momentum going and it losses steam after the first three volumes. Still a worthy read!
