Emissary

I do have to apologize for the lateness of this review...I temporarily misplaced the book and therefor forgot about it......

I've always enjoyed reading fantasy books, and this one was only slightly different than all of the others I've read. It was completely predictable and the romance felt too forced, I would have actually liked the book better had the romance been left out all together, and I'm not normally one to say that, I typically like all of my books to have a few romantical scenes in there, but only if they are written out well. The writing, however, was wonderful and kept you engaged throughout the entire plot. And the story world was one of the best I've ever read about, you could tell that the author poured most of his energy into the story world and it greatly benefited from it. Though I do think that the author could have improved on his characters greatly, the story world and Locke's writing will definitely bring me back for book two! 4 stars out of 5!
