I think this was my introduction to epic. I was not even aware of the animated film to come until I got my hands on these five books and now I cannot wait to see it. Mary Katherine is the human element to this story. Beginner readers can jump right in and follow along on the adventure to meet the Jinn, rescue them from the Boggans, and fulfill science discover on an “epic” adventure. Thanks to HC.
