Escape Goat

The Farmers' goat keeps escaping out of his pen. Each time he escaped the family members saw it would be easy to blame their own transgressions on him. He became a convenient scapegoat, if you will. Eventually the family had to acknowledge their own complicity in the wrongdoings when they noticed the goat was completely unable to have committed the crimes.
