I read the actual book and that says something, but then again it is manga form so I guess not really shocking. Anyway I was iffy about reading this. I am not a major YA fan as I was in the day but this was actually good writing and art.
Cath is a girl with social anxiety, I get it. I don't have it majorly but I have seen people who have. Funny enough I took creative writing classes in college and have seen a girl with social anxiety battle it out in our class. She straight up refused to read her work, which sucked because I felt like she would have written an amazing piece.
ANYWHO back to the story, it have a good outline on how Cath is and how she is with people.
The only reason it isn't 5 is because of how the book is broken down, or lack of? There are no chapters or indication of where one ends and the other begins. It made it a bit confusing. Also her and Levi and Reagan are a confusing trio. I am sure I would understand more in the actual book but I will 9/10 not be listening to that story.
I did skip that whole Simon and Baz thing. I say skip, I skimmed, but it was meh for me. Though I am seeing a link to Simon and Levi... but that could be the artist. I kind of wished there was a more... defined thing with the trio before the volume ended but eh... nothing really to complain about.
