Sometimes you come across a book at the exact right moment in your life. This is one of those times. Poems about the big, unanswerable questions stated so simply, so matter-of-factly that it seems undeniable to recognize the only answer is being here, now, enraptured with our world and our ability to love. I will hold this collection closely for a lifetime.
to be honest, I read this because mary oliver is maha's favorite author and that's just it
A wee bit too religious for my taste, but I found two poems that I just loved. The rest are really beautiful, but did not speak to me. I did sense that, perhaps, they would one day. When I'm ready.
