Footsteps of the Hawk

PI Burke, New York's avenging angel, is asked by a policewoman to clear the name of her boyfriend, jailed for murder. She claims he was framed by a psychopathic policeman who is also out to get Burke. To Burke, it all sounds "treacherous bad," but he takes the case anyway.
