In case you missed the previous memo, I am no way near a vegan or vegetarian, but I sure do need some of their recipes. I've had a pretty good start with [b:The Meat Lover's Meatless Cookbook: Vegetarian Recipes Carnivores Will Devour 7891312 The Meat Lover's Meatless Cookbook Vegetarian Recipes Carnivores Will Devour Kim O'Donnel http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1285526012s/7891312.jpg 11119804], but I have also found some incredible inspiration from [b:Fresh and Fast Vegan: Quick, Delicious, and Creative Recipes to Nourish Aspiring and Devoted Vegans 8857133 Fresh and Fast Vegan Quick, Delicious, and Creative Recipes to Nourish Aspiring and Devoted Vegans Amanda Grant http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51xr4daBrcL.SL75.jpg 13732334] author Amanda Grant. While she is not exclusively vegan, I know that for my opinions she comes to the recipes with taste buds intact. The intro to this book is very interesting and provides many details and facts about vegans , which I was unaware. Also “The Vegan Diet & Nutrition” section as well as the “stocking...” section provide valuable and educational bit that I hope and pray will help me to be a more well rounded cook. The health benefits are obvious and while I will never walk away from my meat completely I am far from opposed to a mostly vegan menu. Thanks to Da Capo Press Lifelong Books for providing a copy for review.
