No substance at all, very little Bachelor and a bit boring plot. But that was good rest after my previous books.

I read the blurb, found it interesting, and I expected more then this book offered
From the very first page to the very last page I really enjoyed this book. The dynamic between both Torin and Ava was one of my favourite things about it. Ava's character development was perfect, I can see exactly what C.N Crawford was doing. I am completely ready for the plot to thicken even more in “Ambrosia”, the second book of the series. It has already been added to this months TBR list.As amazing as the book is, I ran into a bit of an issue with it as well. Unfortunately to me the book as a whole felt quite dissonant due to the multitude of pop culture references whilst maintaining a heavy fantasy theme throughout. Please don't let that discourage you from adding this fun book to your TBR list and giving it a read. You won't be disappointed.4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
