Talia did not let Foster grovel enough at all, all the secrets he kept from her on top of the seven year separation, it was frustrating how easily she rolled over for him. Especially considering the one VERY BIG secret he hid, Foster should've been begging on his hands and knees for that alone.
But I did find it oddly entertaining regardless of the short comings. The strange dynamic between Talia, Foster, Vivienne, and Kadence was especially interesting.
I have loved this Eden's series so much! I really enjoyed Talia and her story. At times I didn't love Foster, especially in the beginning but he definitely grew on me! I didn't think it was quite as good as the first 2, but still loved this book and flew through it.
I LOVE second chance romances...
but i think i'm just too bitter to enjoy this one
Maybe 3.5
Not my favorite hero but overall the story and this family has its grip on me. I'm really glad I read this series!
Garnet Flats is the third installment in The Eden's series, and I really wanted to love it as much as the other books in the series. This story follows Talia, a doctor trying to prove herself, and Foster, an MMA fighter with some secrets. Their story is a second-chance romance which I loved, and I loved that there was no third act break up. Foster and Talia had amazing tension and that first break in tension
Ooooof a second chance romance.
Half of this I wonder if this would be considered a red flag or stalking if Foster wasn't hot AF?
(i.e. moving to her town to get her back)
All things considered... was definitely rooting for Foster to win back Doctor Talia Eden.
She deserves happiness and a family and her happy ending.
