Chasing after poachers the Sheriff stumbles across an injured cheetah who turns out to be much more.
Aliyah Carver was kidnapped over six months while in her cheetah form in Africa and brought into the United States for a hunt and kill game. While running from the hunters, she is shot and is found by Sheriff Duncan Kennedy. Kennedy saves the wild animal and not knowing what else to do to save the wild animal, he brings it home with him. Imagine his surprise when the injured cheetah turns into a naked woman with an arrow protruding from her body. Maya Banks packs a lot in Golden Eyes a novella in the “Wild Series”. There is a full story for both characters full of pain and disclosure, then there is the sex which is good. I do not want to write too much more as this is a novella, but you cannot really go wrong with a novella with action, romance, and sex or a story by Banks.
