It's a book about the end of the world, but it's so calm and beautiful and almost soothing. It's both epic and personal, tragic, but hopeful. It doesn't explain too much or tie anything up with a bow. It just allows us to witness its characters come to terms with their fates and themselves.
I really enjoyed this - seemed like a good cross between The Martian and Station Eleven. I love how it dealt with uncertainty. Can't wait to chat about it at book club!
