I was so excited when I saw this. I have been collecting cloth books and panels to make them when I see them for years, even before I had my girls. Right now my toddler loves her pile in her bed of cloth books, as they are the only ones I let stay in the nursery “after hours”. This Goodnight Moon Cloth Book is an abridged version with only three double pages, but it has the beginning and ends that matter and if your child ever hears the story later on or at another time this works as a pretty good short attention span introduction. My only qualm is when my preschooler looks at it, because she cannot get past it saying red balloon when the balloon on the fabric is very much orange.
I think this would be a great purchase, but it is not a replacement for another copy and full version on your shelf.
Thanks to HC for providing a copy for review.
