This book begins with a synopsis of events that are important to the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico. This summary establishes a contextual background for the pioneer vignettes that follow. These brief sketches are mostly about pioneer Mexican Latter-day Saints and focus mainly on their conversions, their lives as new members of the Church, and what happened to them and their families afterward.
