Heart of the Sunset

Rather a heavy read but one with a lot of historical detail, which was a delight. The part that I didn't care for was where the lead guy fell hard for the married fair lady and even asked her to divorce her husband for him. Now it was excused on the grounds of the guy being a nasty scoundrel, but it made me all sorts of uncomfortable.
