I'm so sad this series is over! It's been such a fun journey with these amazing characters that Elsie Silver has created for us. The conclusion of this series is so bittersweet, because as sad as I am that it's over, I'm so excited to see what else Elsie has in store for us! Hopeless follows the final Eaton sibling, Beau. He is hardened from his time in the military and suffering from PTSD. One night at a bar he sees Bailey, a bartender from a family with a bad reputation that she is trying to get away from. They make a bet that being with an Eaton won't make the town see her differently (enter fake fiancé trope)! Right off the bat there is so much tension. And the spice... the spice is definitely spicy! I loved Bailey's naivety and Beau's ability to be so sweet and tender with her but also extremely sexy! Both Beau and Bailey are trying to escape things and end up finding themselves in each other. It's really such a sweet romance! Age gap, fake fiancé, a little forced prox drizzled in there. Hopeless is an adult romance, 18+ for sexual content and themes

Hello, this book was ah-mazing. The best one of the series. Binge read this in 3.5 hours. As soon as Elsie Silver replied to the question “who do you cast as beau?” with “jensen ackles” i know I was a goner. I knew this will be my favorite book. but what i didn't know that beau will become my second book boyfriend.
I went into this with lowered expectations but actually really enjoyed it! It's not my favourite in the series but definitely a worth ending. There were some really sweet moments between Beau and Bailey and I always love seeing the family dinners and especially Harvey!

This book is so bittersweet, so sad to be saying goodbye to this group of characters,
Sadly tho this was my least favourite in the series.
I found Bailey to be the least detailed FMC in the series and the lack of communication at key points made some chapters hard to read.
Overall though I would definatly recomend this book especially if you have already read the rest in the series.
But please read the TW before reading this book,
PS - to my teacher who said she picked up the first book in this series, i am 18 lets never mention the contents of this series

Loved the story as always. Beau and Bailey are such a cute, strong couple. What a book to inspire you to keep fighting for your dreams and to keep going when life gets hard.
I wish we could see more of Beau and Winter's friendship.
BEAU!!!! Well worth the wait.
Bittersweet as this is the last in the Chestnut Springs series but it tied everything up in a perfect little bow.
Baileys story was heart breaking, and Beau just wants to save her. She has had rough go with things, and so has he with his special ops background and injuries.
They decide to get fake engaged to benefit them, but Beau I think has always just felt protective of her and wants to keep her close.
The shaving of the pubes was odd. I would never... but also like kind of cute and sexy they did it? same with the lotion on the foot. Won't ever catch me doing that but it's swoon city when she does that for him.
Really enjoyed reading this and felt all of the things.
The whole series is amazing! I do feel like this one lacked on the smut more than the others but the story itself and everything was on point!
4.5 stars from me. I really enjoyed both characters. Beau is the best and has been through so much. Bailey is sweet and has an unfortunate past/present. He clearly wants what is best for her. He will stop at nothing to give her what she needs and wants all while making sure she is safe and happy.
I was a little frustrated with Bailey at being frustrated at Beau towards the end of the book, but it was just part of the plot. I also hate third act breakups BUT where would we be without some of them. Lol.
Overall this was a great series. Very cute and wholesome with country/ranch vibes and scenes. It's really good.
