DNF Stopped in Chapter 23. I had 3 hours left on Audio.

I couldn't stand Vic. She was bullheaded, willfully ignorant, and for a Marine insecure as fuck. I tried to push through. Tried to concentrate on the growth of their relationship. But that wasn't growing. Physically sure, but the author made Vic so closed off that the relationship was stunted. To have a character not share any history and for her Lovers to accept that, was unbelievable. Add on that they let this same person live in their home but are supposed to be suspicious creatures. Not believable. I couldn't believe this world, so I wasn't sucked in.
